Every summer, Interlochen Center for the Arts president Trey Devey concludes First Gathering with three simple requests for the students of Interlochen Arts Camp:

"Make art. Make friends. Make it the best summer of your life!"

In the few short weeks since the first strains of "Sound the Call," the students of Arts Camp 2022 have responded to Devey's instructions with enthusiasm, participating joyfully in classes, rehearsals, performances, and Camp Life activities.

Interlochen, too, is having one of its best summers in recent memory: the Camp returned to full capacity in-person programs for the first time since 2019 with 3,024 campers from 42 countries and 53 U.S. states and territories—the largest enrollment in the institution's 95-year history.
