The dance program offers a curriculum designed for the serious student who wishes to study both ballet and modern dance. All classes provide a positive, focused, professional atmosphere. Dance majors may choose to attend one or both of the three-week sessions that include six hours of dance training each day. Majors select from either a ballet emphasis (which includes pointe technique) or modern emphasis (which includes improvisation and composition).

High School Division (grades 9-12)
The High School Dance program offers a curriculum designed for the serious student who wishes to study both ballet and modern dance in an intensive, professional atmosphere. All classes provide a positive, focused environment for student to develop their skills.
Intermediate Division (grades 6-9)
Intermediate Dance program students study both ballet and modern dance, and are guided by a distinguished faculty, all of whom are working dance professionals.
Please note: 9th graders may apply for either Intermediate or High School Division programs. The admission committee will determine appropriate placement based on skill level.
