We’re currently finalizing Interlochen Arts Camp 2021 programs. Please check back soon or contact Admission at admission@interlochen.org.

Focusing on piano, guitar, and voice, you will compose songs and share them in small workshops that allow you to gain performance experience and receive feedback in an intimate and supportive setting. Additional performance opportunities include informal "coffee house" style events, a mid-session public performance, and a public performance at the end of the session.

Students in the singer-songwriter program have the opportunity in their schedule for one elective class. Each summer we also present an impressive lineup of world-renowned classical, jazz, and popular guest artists.

Audition Requirements

Please submit both a video recording of a self-accompanied, personal performance of an original composition as well as a PDF file of the written lyrics.

Additional Opportunities

Interlochen is also home to the Arts Academy boarding high school, which also offers a singer-songwriter major for students in grades 9-12, as well as a post-graduate year.
