The viola institute is an intensive experience, designed for motivated violists in grades 9-12. Each day, you'll have lectures, master classes, ensemble rehearsal, and other scheduled activities. With a focus on orchestral and solo repertoire, this program is ideal for students who may go on to study viola at the college or conservatory level.

Each summer, the viola institute faculty includes performers and educators from major symphony orchestras, colleges, and Interlochen Arts Academy.
