Liezel Marie (aka Laydee Liz) is a choreographer, director, teacher, educator, visionary, and Los Angeles native with a B.S. in Kinesiology Dance and M.A. in Education. She co-founded and created a hip hop dance crew COSMIC, and is the creator of Project La'Vaude company, captain of the Zulu Maniacs, and is currently dance director for Universal Studios 5 Towers Stage in City Walk. She has choreographed for dance competitions and conventions such as World of Dance, Urban Street Jam, Hip Hop Internationals, Club Jete, Choreographers Carnival, Soul de Soul, Dance Excellence, Step of Hope, and Maxt Out. She was a Raw Artist Hollywood Of the Year nominee and a dancer for Universal Studios Hollywood and Disney. She has also served as a choreographer and instructor on Carnival Cruise Lines, and as choreographer and director for the Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA), Los Angeles Clippers, Harlem Globetrotters, and Nike. She worked with artists such as Latin Grammy Award winner Chocoquibtown, American Idol singer Chris GoLightly, Lanita Smith, Loren Smith, Alexa Friedman, Danity Kane, Derek Jordan, and Jessica Sanchez. Her goal is to teach, educate, and inspire dancers, non-dancers, and artists all over the world to become professional dancers and artists by sharing her love of dance, choreography, and artistry.
