Katherine holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Since graduating in 2012 her work has included: a 15 month tour throughout the US and Canada as an Actor/Director with the Missoula Children's Theatre; a season training with Double Edge Theatre; a season with the Lioness Tale Prison Project, with whom she conducted a Shakespeare and voice workshop for women serving long-term to life sentences; a season in India volunteering with the Maher ashram for destitute women and children, as well as studying traditional dance; and various other projects including performances, teaching with the Children's Theatre of Madison, physical training, etc. After camp she will begin a Teaching Artist Residency with the Kattaikkuttu Sangam school in Tamil Nadu. This is her fifth summer at Interlochen.
