English Literature and Creative Writing, Cleveland State University

justin a. reynolds has been a pest control operator in New York City, night security guard, steel mill janitor, an intern at NASA Glenn Research Center, salesman of high-end faucet fixtures, and carpet-flooring installer (his first job ever). In between, he attended several colleges and universities, before finally settling in at Cleveland State University for English literature and creative writing. He’s been the recipient of various fellowships, including the diversity award at NY State Writers Institute at Skidmore College. He was most recently a registered nurse, specializing in hematology and oncology, before trading his stethoscope for a pencil, but he likes to think both instruments reveal the heart. He lives in northeast Ohio, home to snow, Lake Erie, and the Cleveland Browns. "Opposite of Always" is his debut novel.
