Gabrielle Padilla

Tulsa, Oklahoma native Gabrielle Padilla is a violist dedicated to performance, teaching, and arts administration. She received her BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance and her Master’s from Ball State University under the direction of Dr. Katrin Meidell. While at Ball State, the Viola Choir was selected to perform at the American Viola Society Festival in Los Angeles in June 2018. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at West Virginia University with Andrea Priester Houde. Gabrielle performs regularly with freelance orchestras, and you can hear her on Sutton Foster’s Take Me to the World album. Outside of performance, Gabrielle serves on the Youth Advisory Board and Teacher’s Toolbox Committee for the American Viola Society.
