Dr. Diane Cardarelli strives to create comprehensive music education programs which develop creativity, literacy and excellence. Recognized by United Arts of Florida with the Arts Educator of the Year award for her impact on arts education through the creation of the award winning A Gift for Music program, Dr. Cardarelli has served on the faculties of the University of Central Florida, Seminole State College, Valencia College, Florida Young Artists Orchestras, A Gift for Music, Orlando Opera, Orange County Public Schools, Seminole County Public Schools and Interlochen Center for the Arts. In 1998, at the University of Central Florida, Dr. Cardarelli created a series of innovative music camps; including Music Drama, Beginning Music, Orchestra Camp, Rock and Roll Camp, Piano Camp and Irish Music study abroad. Rock and Roll Camp © continues a 20 plus years tradition of excellence under her direction as Orlando’s original Rock Camp, at Valencia College.
