Creator, writer, director and producer, Rose Gold

Celia Harmelink is an undergraduate student at Grand Valley State University seeking a bachelor's degree in film and video production and creative writing. She is the creator, writer, director, and producer of the television drama Rose Gold for the Grand Valley Television Network. She was previously a writer for the GVTV comedy television series Catastrophe. She has also worked for Perelandra Pictures as a production assistant for the music video Nottingham. She has been recognized by the filmmaking community in West Michigan for her short film Picture This which won the first place prize for filmmaking in the 2017 Mobile Mosaic Film Competition. She has recently started her own production company with associates from her university. In addition to filmmaking, she greatly enjoys writing and is currently working on a novel. Her written work has appeared in numerous publications across Grand Valley’s campus, including The Grand Valley Lanthorn and InWriting, the GVSU Writing Department Newsletter. After finishing her degree, she intends to move to Los Angeles, California to pursue screenwriting and directing.
