Bridgett Vanderhoof is a PhD student in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies with a focus in Theatre for Youth. She holds a MA in Theatre & Drama from UW-Madison (2015), and a BA in Theatre from Grand Valley State University (2013). Outside of academia, Bridgett has worked as an actor in Grand Rapids, MI, and as a costume designer for the Interlochen Arts Camp (15-17). While at UW-Madison, she was an Apprentice for the Kennedy Center’s New Visions/New Voices play festival in 2016 and 2018; has directed and performed in University Theatre productions; and is currently a DesignLab consultant.
