All music programs during Interlochen Arts Camp will strictly adhere to the guidelines and protocols set forth in an exhaustive research study sponsored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). This includes reduced ensemble and choir size, appropriate spacing within ensembles and choirs, as well as use of bell covers for aerosol producing instruments, performance masks, and disinfectant wipes. About Music at Interlochen Arts Camp
Located in beautiful northern Michigan, Interlochen Arts Camp offers summer arts programs for grades 3-12. Each summer, over 2,500 students from all over the world come to Interlochen to study music, visual arts, theatre, film, dance and creative writing. Music students perform in the 3,900-seat Kresge Auditorium, the 950-seat Corson Auditorium, Dendrinos Chapel and Recital Hall, the historic Interlochen Bowl, and the new, open air Upton-Morley Pavilion, as well as other locations around our scenic, lakefront campus.
