Herbert H. and Barbara C. Dow Center for Visual Arts
Completed in 2008, the 36,000 square foot light-filled visual arts complex includes separate studio space for ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, metals, digital arts, photography, printmaking and fibers. The most impressive facility of its kind at any secondary school in the country, it features a professional gallery space for exhibitions of work by students, faculty and visiting artists.
Due to COVID-19, gallery access is limited to current Interlochen Arts Academy students and approved Interlochen employees. Seasonal hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
