In the three-week theatre ensemble program for grades 6-9, students collaborate with one another to create and perform an original theatrical work while developing skills in acting, movement, voice, imagination, playwriting, improvisation and ensemble collaboration.
Instructors guide students through various exercises and improvisations that empower students to express themselves onstage and prepare them for future theatrical study. Theatre Ensemble students participate in the following activities and classes:
- Four hours of daily rehearsals.
- Acting Technique class.

This program is designed for students with basic to moderate theatre experience.

Required Materials
Prepare two monologues and submit these as two (2) video audition files containing one (1) monologue each from published plays of your choice. One monologue should be comic and the other serious (1-2 minutes in length.)
