Students in the singer-songwriter program will create new works and develop performance skills on piano, guitar and voice.

Under the guidance of faculty, students will compose songs and share them in small workshop groups of eight or nine students. The workshops will allow singer-songwriters to gain performing experience and receive feedback for their work in an intimate and supportive environment.

Class time will focus on song fundamentals and the connection between emotion, imagination and self-expression.
