High School Oboe Institute

The Interlochen Oboe Institute is an unparalleled opportunity for student oboists to spend a week of intensive study with internationally known performers and teachers.

Program Details

Observation of daily master classes focusing on solo repertoire, etudes and orchestral works.

Students will attend performances by faculty members and distinguished guest artists.

Each student will receive private lessons. Special attention will be additionally given to reed work and instrument maintenance.

How to Apply

This program enrolls on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is advised. Experienced players are encouraged to apply to the Advanced Oboe Institute, which is held on the same dates an includes master class participation.
