Video or audio file #2: Choose one movement from an additional piece (no etudes or scales).
Selections of contrasting style, and piano accompaniment when appropriate, are recommended.
Double bassists are also invited to apply for the six-week orchestra summer program, which begins immediately following the one-week double bass institute.
Interlochen is home to the Arts Academy boarding high school, which offers a double bass performance major for grades 9-12, as well as a post-graduate year.
