General Arts Summer Program for Grades 3-6

The junior general arts summer program provides you with a rich and diverse experience in the arts. At the heart of the program is the Global Arts Studio, a course that investigates cultures from around the world through visual art forms.

Age range: Students currently in grades 3-6

Students in the Global Arts Studio learn about different cultures by studying art techniques from a variety of points around the globe. You will work on numerous art projects that may include fibers, printmaking, sculpture, drawing and painting.

With three elective classes, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art forms. Elective class options include:

  • Ballet Technique
  • Ceramics
  • Chorus
  • Creative Writing
  • Environmental Exploration
  • Modern Dance
  • Painting/Drawing
  • Printmaking
  • Land and Water Recreation

Electives are chosen after enrollment, and are based on schedule availability.
