The junior general arts program for grades 3-6 provides a rich and diverse experience within the arts. The program is centered on the Global Arts Studio, an interdiscinplinary course that utilizes visual arts to investigate cultures from around the world. Students also take three electives in areas such as visual arts, music, dance, theatre, creative writing, environmental exploration or recreation.
Students participate in:
Global arts studio where they learn about different cultures by studying different art techniques from a variety of points across the globe. This course encompasses numerous art activities that may include working with fibers, printmaking, sculpture, drawing or painting.
Three additional electives allow young campers to explore a variety of art forms. Elective class options include:
