Chamber musicians from around the world immerse themselves in a week of instruction and performances with a faculty of leading string, keyboard and woodwind musicians.

The Chapman Stick Workshop will include instruction for players of the Chapman Stick®, the two-handed tapping electric instrument popularized in the 1970s and 1980s by Tony Levin, who performed alongside artists including Peter Gabriel and King Crimson.

The Classical Guitar Workshop features some of the leading classical guitar performers and educators. Participants will work closely with these artists in master classes, nightly recital concerts and daily workshop sessions on a broad range of topics. Regardless of ability level, everyone can play more musically! Participants should have at least one year of serious study on the guitar.

The 2013 Early Music Workshop will present repertoire from the earliest printed sources to the dawn of the Baroque period, with a study of music from the Italian Renaissance.

The Fingerstyle Guitar Workshop returns for a second year, featuring an accomplished faculty to help energize your playing skills.

The Flute Choir Camp is a fun and instructional week for flute players of all abilities. Participants will enjoy the camaraderie of fellow flutists while rehearsing in a flute choir, attending repertoire reading sessions and collaborating with others in chamber music duos, trios and quartets.

It all starts with the sketchbook. This foundation class will be an introduction to essential techniques that Glenn Wolff has developed and utilized in his three-decade career as a fine artist and illustrator for such publications as the New York Times, Audubon, the Wall Street Journal and over twenty books including It's Raining Frogs and Fishes and Flight of the Reindeer.  No background or assembly required; just a desire to draw.

This week-long retreat examines the place of memoir-writing in the genre of nonfiction and will help writers develop specific skills to tell their personal or family stories with a crafted sensibility.

This four-day retreat will allow you to consider the basics of crime writing while you explore the building blocks of the mystery and crime genre: openings and endings, scene development, point of view, narrative voice, the art of detection and police procedures.

The Transom Traveling Workshop at Interlochen will provide a remarkably solid introduction to the basics and some advanced elements of radio story planning, structure, writing, fieldwork and digital audio editing.

Participants will work with design elements and learn to divide the format to create balance and visual excitement to lead the viewer into the composition. Pastel techniques, color theory and color mixing will be discussed and demonstrated. Participants will learn to see simple shapes and values to create stunning results.

The Watercolor, Paint and Journaling Workshop is for people who want to keep more than just a written journal.
