Young American organist Weston Jennings is quickly establishing a reputation as a talented and engaging international performer. Having first encountered the pipe organ at the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp at age 16, he graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy with Honors and the Fine Arts Award. At the Eastman School of Music, Mr. Jennings earned his Bachelor of Music Degree and the Performer’s Certificate. His former organ teachers include Michel Bouvard, Hans Davidsson, David Higgs, and Thomas Bara. Following his recital début at The Kennedy Center (Washington, DC) in 2009, he has performed across the United States and Germany, including Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue (New York); The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels (Los Angeles); and The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (Denver). Beginning in September of 2013, Mr. Jennings will be Organ Scholar at Canterbury Cathedral (UK) and Assistant Organist at the King’s School Canterbury.
