Assistant Choreographer, High School Musical Theatre Production

B.F.A., music dance theatre, Brigham Young University

From Los Angeles, Valerie was immersed in the arts from a young age. When she won a talent contest by belting out songs from Annie at age three, her parents knew she was destined for the stage. Some of her favorite roles growing up include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Sandy in Grease, and Ariel in Footloose. In addition to performing, Valerie gained experience teaching at her family’s well-recognized performing arts academy in LA. She was accepted into BYU’s Music/Dance/Theatre B.F.A. program as a freshman, where she had the opportunity to perform all over Brazil and Argentina with the BYU Young Ambassadors. After graduation, Valerie and her husband performed on the National Tour of 42nd Street, in Regional theatres across the country, on cruise ships, and in Macau, China. Together, they founded Triple Threat PAA and continue to teach in all three areas; voice, acting, and dance.
