Tree Sturman grew up in the Hudson River Valley and spent his childhood exploring nature, the way all children should: first hand, with all his senses. He haas been teaching environmental science to children, youth, and adults since he was 16 years old. He has lived and worked in ten states, from the inner city to the rural countryside. Everywhere he goes, he rediscovers our innate and infinite capacity to commune with nature, in all its forms. Teaching at Interlochen allows him to wed his love of music with nature.
