Rebecca is a dance artist and educator in Chicago.  Rebecca graduated with a BFA in Dance, with a minor in Music Performance (horn) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  She has lived in Israel as trainee/apprentice with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company where she performed works by Rami Be’er, Ohad Naharin, and Mats Ek.  She studied Gaga technique with Batsheva Dance Company, taking workshops with Ohad Naharin and Batsheva Company members.  Rebecca has taught at The Chicago High School for the Arts and has integrated dance into Chicago schools through Hubbard Street Dance Center’s education program.  This Fall, she will begin as the premiere dance teacher at a new arts-focused high school in Chicago.  In addition, she choreographs and performs in a modern dance collective in Chicago, Delve.  Rebecca is an IAC alumna and served on dance faculty in 2012.  She is ecstatic to be returning to Interlochen this summer.
