Clarinetist Pavel Vinnitsky has gained his acclaim through numerous solo, chamber music, and orchestral appearances in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. An avid orchestral musician, he currently performs with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Previously, he has been an associate clarinetist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York City, and is featured on Met radio and HD video broadcasts. Pavel Vinnitsky appeared as a guest clarinetist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, American Symphony, and Orchestra of St. Luke's. He also serves as principal clarinet of Stamford Symphony. In demand as a chamber musician, Pavel Vinnitsky performed with the Met Chamber Players at their Carnegie Hall series as well as with the Wind Soloists of New York, the St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble, the International Contemporary Ensemble, and is on the artists roster of many international chamber music festivals. Mr. Vinnitsky is a clarinet and chamber music faculty member at the New York University and frequently appears in master classes at conservatories and music schools in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Vinnitsky is featured on Grammy-winning recordings for Deutsche Grammophon, New World, and Bridge labels, as well as major motion picture soundtracks.
