Joshua Espinoza is a freelance performer and teacher in Indianapolis, IN. Previously, Mr. Espinoza was Visiting Instructor of Jazz Piano at Morehead State University where he taught applied piano, jazz theory, jazz arranging, and directed a large jazz ensemble. He has performed with notable artists including Joel Spencer, Wycliffe Gordon, Rick Simerly, Marietta Simpson, Anders Åstrand and Pat Harbison, and on national stages including the Jazz Kitchen (Indianapolis) and Piccolo Spoleto (Charleston).

Mr. Espinoza has performed as a classical soloist and chamber musician in both the U.S. and Italy. He has studied classical repertoire with Jean-Louis Haguenauer, Ruby Morgan, and George Kiorpes, and jazz with Luke Gillespie, Matt Olson, and Keith Davis.

Mr. Espinoza was previously an Associate Instructor of Music Theory at Indiana University and an instructor for the IU Young Pianists program. At Interlochen, Mr. Espinoza teaches classical piano as well as intermediate and high school introduction to jazz piano classes.
