Dr. Tracy Satterfield

Dr. Tracy Rhodus Satterfield is the instructor of voice for the High School Voice Studio at Houston Grand Opera.  She has been a lecturer in Vocal Physiology at Rice University and served for 3 years as an Associate Singing Voice Specialist at the Sound Singing Institute, a center for voice rehabilitation.  Her favorite operatic appearances include as Lisabetta with Teatro Grattacielo in Alice Tully Hall, The Queen of the Night with Emerald City Opera, Violetta with Bellevue Opera, and the Fire, Princess & Nightingale at Tanglewood.  Recent performances include as soprano soloist in Orff's Carmina Burana with the Columbia Chorale and the premiere of Thomas Osborn's Songs of a Thousand Autumns with Aperio.  She is thrilled to be returning to teach her 6th summer at the Interlochen Arts Camp!
