Unrau is noted as a "magnificent artist" who makes "...intricate and difficult passage work...seem almost effortless."  The Los Angeles Times says Unrau "...provided pointed, bravura playing."  Dr. Unrau performs solo and chamber music concerts across the United States and her most recent CD with world-renown saxophonist, Timothy McAllister, is due for release in spring 2009.  A nationally certified teacher of music, she is Immediate Past President of the Ohio Music Teachers Association which is affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association.  Dr. Unrau often serves as a review panelist for the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.  She holds piano performance degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, Indiana University and Oberlin Conservatory.  Dr. Unrau is currently Professor of Music and Music Department Chair at Bluffton University.
