Dr. Lisa Pierce Litteral is Head of Music, Director of Vocal Studies at Beaumont School and associate professor of voice at Ursuline College in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Litteral received her doctorate at The Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with and was teaching asistant to Beverley Rinaldi. Dr. Litteral has also taught at Converse College, University of South Carolina Spartanburg, Lorain Community College, and CIM. Besides studio, classroom and conducting experience, Dr. Litteral has sung with opera companies and orchestras throughout the Southeast and Ohio, including Brevard Music Center, Ohio Chamber Orchestra and Opera Cleveland. She has recently performed under the direction of Robert Page and Robert Porco and is the first recipient of the Jon Alexander Bel Canto Award.
