David Gould

Gould completed undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School and was a Harriet Hale Woolley scholar in Paris, France.

David Gould has been guest artist with the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, L’Orchestre National de France, National Symphony, and the Orchestra of St. Lukes. He has played under the batons of James Conlon, Charles Dutoit, Christoph Eschenbach, Bernard Haitink, James Levine, Kurt Masur, Riccardo Muti, Yannick Nezet-Seguin, David Robertson and Leonard Slatkin.

Chamber music with the St. Lawrence and iO string quartets, and Philippe Cuper. Gould has premiered works by Paquito D’Rivera, Francis Reeve, and Phil Woods.

As educator he has given master classes at the New England Conservatory, Colburn School, Indiana University, Eastman School of Music, and the University of Michigan. Gould won 1st prizes in clarinet performance at the Conservatoire National de Region de Versailles.
