About Carrington

Carrington Truehart, born in Memphis, Tennessee, is one of the the current artist fellows for the Iris Orchestra. His work includes performing with the orchestra, teaching and mentoring in city schools, and performing a variety of concerts for the community. He holds two degrees from the University of Memphis; a Bachelor's in Music Education and a Master's in Cello Performance. Carrington has played in masterclasses for a variety of artists such as Joel Krosnick, David Finckel, Joshua Roman and Aizuri Quartet. In addition to his Iris Orchestra duties, Carrington often subs with several orchestras in the region, including the Memphis Symphony and the Jackson Symphony.During his free time, Carrington enjoys exercise at the gym, reading, movies, and cooking.
