Professor of Horn at The Ohio State University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory and a Master’s degree from Northwestern University. Prior to joining The Ohio State University, he was a member of the Houston Symphony for twelve seasons. Mr. Henniss has toured, performed or recorded with the Houston, Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Montreal and Detroit symphony orchestras. In the summers he is on the faculty at the Interlohen Arts Camp and performs at the Grand Teton Music Festival in Wyoming. Bruce has also taught at Rice University, The University of Houston, and the Interlochen Arts Academy. Mr. Henniss has given masterclasses in the US and abroad. He recently participated in a newly released CD featuring the Horn sections of the Houston and Dallas Symphony Orchestras call "Texas Horns".
