Bruce Henniss

Mr. Henniss is the Associate Professor of Horn at The Ohio State University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory and a Master's degree from Northwestern University. Prior to joining The Ohio State University, he was a member of the Houston Symphony for twelve seasons. Mr. Henniss has toured, performed and/or recorded with the Houston, Chicago, Cincinnati, San Francisco, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Montreal and Detroit symphony orchestras. He is a Valade fellow at Interlochen Arts Camp. Bruce has also taught at Rice University, University of Houston, and Interlochen Arts Academy. Mr. Henniss has given masterclasses in the US and abroad. Mr. Henniss is a performer on the CD featuring the Horn sections of the Houston and Dallas Symphony Orchestras titled "Texas Horns."
