About Bridgett

Bridgett Vanderhoof is the Publicity & Recruitment Coordinator for the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Grand Valley State University, and a Ph.D. candidate in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies (Theatre for Young Audiences specialization). Previously Vanderhoof has worked as a teaching artist for Children's Theatre of Madison (WI) and as a graduate apprentice for the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts TYA Division, as well as a freelance actor, director, and costume designer.

I encourage my students to see theatre as an ongoing process that requires collaboration and honestly. My theatre practice is rooted in a commitment to curiosity and equity.
