Brandon Som is the author of The Tribute Horse, winner of the 2012 Nightboat Poetry Prize, and Babel's Moon, winner of Tupelo Press' Snowbound Prize. His poems have appeared in Indiana Review, Black Warrior Review, Octopus Magazine, and Prairie Schooner. He has received fellowships to the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center. He currently lives in Los Angeles where he is a PhD candidate in the Creative Writing and Literature Program at the University of Southern California.
