Overview
The Intermediate Harp Program involves playing opportunities that promote serious individual study as well as ensemble skills and experience. Concentration on the student's musical growth and solo repertoire extends from the private lessons to studio classes. The classes will provide performance opportunities, practice help and work with general musical topics and techniques, as well as appearances from distinguished guest artists. The large ensemble aspect of the program will support other performing groups: orchestras, wind ensembles and choirs. An in-depth harp ensemble structure is also an integral part of the curriculum. Rotation of the harpists for the Camp ensembles will allow for quality practice time and preparation for student recitals, when appropriate
