Overview
The High School Harp Program at Interlochen Arts Camp involves playing opportunities that promote serious individualized study as well as ensemble skills and experience. Concentration on the student's musical growth and solo repertoire extends from the private lesson to studio classes.
The large ensemble aspect of the program supports many different performing groups: orchestras, wind ensembles and choirs. An in-depth harp ensemble structure is also an integral part of the curriculum. Rotation of the harpists for the ensembles allows for quality practice time and preparation for student recitals, when appropriate.
